When I first came to Italy, I arrived in Rome, with just a few friends and even fewer bags of luggage to keep me company. But we were young and carefree, and after we’d checked into our hotel, and exhausted all the possible sightseeing opportunities for the day, we realised that our stomachs were collectively groaning after a full day of surviving on very little food. In Italy, it’s very common to have more than one starter, and in fact, we had three. By the time we got to the main course, (I had parmigiana, but the wine has since ensured that I can’t remember what my friends had) I was fit to burst, but somehow managed to finish it, only to be presented with our dessert: tiramisu. After desert, we were given coffee and a biscuit, and the walk home was, I’ve since been told, very merry. Needless to say, we went back to that restaurant for dinner every night, and whenever I’ve managed to save on a trip to Italy by finding cheap holiday deals

As we arrive in the city we are already seated near a silent group oozing with fresh aura and tranquility. We never thought that we would check in on the same hotel that we did.
