Italy as we all know, is the country that has brought so much to world cuisine, from pasta, to coffee, to Nutella, Italian cuisine is well-loved and often imitated around the globe. But if you want to treat yourself to authentic Italian cooking, then investing in tickets to this beautiful country is the only way to truly enjoy Italy’s fine cuisine and famous hospitality.

When I first came to Italy, I arrived in Rome, with just a few friends and even fewer bags of luggage to keep me company. But we were young and carefree, and after we’d checked into our hotel, and exhausted all the possible sightseeing opportunities for the day, we realised that our stomachs were collectively groaning after a full day of surviving on very little food. So, hungry and a little apprehensive, as we didn’t speak the language, we decided to find a nice restaurant to grab a quick bite before bed.

But this is where we went wrong, in Italy, a meal is a celebration, and if you’re not used to Italian courses or portions, then you’re in for a real shock, and a great treat. In Italy, it’s very common to have more than one starter, and in fact, we had three. We dined on a selection of cold meats, fresh pasta with borage and then a very generous helping of stracciatella soup, all accompanied by what seemed like a never-ending bottle of white wine. By the time we got to the main course, (I had parmigiana, but the wine has since ensured that I can’t remember what my friends had) I was fit to burst, but somehow managed to finish it, only to be presented with our dessert: tiramisu. After desert, we were given coffee and a biscuit, and the walk home was, I’ve since been told, very merry. Needless to say, we went back to that restaurant for dinner every night, and whenever I’ve managed to save on a trip to Italy by finding cheap holiday deals
online, I’ve always treated myself to a big dinner at that restaurant, with my friends and family.

Our holiday in Italy was really a mind opening one. We did a great job jumping from tourist destination to another. It was a mind opening for we did not only knew and sight see but also find some really good information.

As we arrive in the city we are already seated near a silent group oozing with fresh aura and tranquility. We never thought that we would check in on the same hotel that we did. My family and these young females had one thing in common and that is we came from one country United States of America. Though we live in different states, we come from Florida and they come from New York, it did not impede us from sharing and talking about a lot of things about our travel and destinations.

So we toured Italy and then meet at the end of day and talk about a lot of things. After 4 days they shared that they are going to an Italy retreat. They are actually booked in a certain resort in Italy for Yoga holiday. I do not have a wide knowledge of yoga but I was amaze that these people would cross boundaries for a yoga session and here in Italy.

I was of the opinion that these people are really missing out something. Why spend your days closing your eyes in yoga training? I was quite surprise that Italy tourism actually included hundreds of yoga enthusiast.

But indeed it exist! These new found friends invited me and my husband for a day of yoga treat. It ended with me going with them together with another wife in the group.

My experience was a total wow! I never thought that I would visit Italy and join a yoga group. In my practical mind I would not visit other places for yoga. I thought it was useless but to my amazement a yoga retreat in holiday in Italy was really great!

Traveling abroad does in any way change the Christmas’s spirit in a family or within couples. Yet, it is an undeniable fact that Italy tours can somehow augment and strengthen the family bond. When a family inject something (like traveling) into family lifestyle it gives each family member a feeling of closeness and it a foreign factor like a foreign culture can heightened that feeling. That explanation makes sense due to the fact that resorts and hotel are fully booked especially during holidays and Christmases.

Before packing your bag for an Italy Christmas vacation it would be practical if you embedded yourself with Italy travel tips. Tips can make the travel and vacation much easier and much more lighter.

Italy tours are usually planned and booked a way ahead the scheduled Italy flights. You will hardly find any Italy package tour a month or so before Christmas. Expect that it is fully booked and taken.

A couple I knew which are both Chief Executive officers of a sister company of telecommunication industries went into a Christmas Honeymoon and made an Itlay travel train three days before Christmas Eve. They enjoyed the sights and scenes together and they made sure to take pictures of the trip to share with the family.

After a week of travel the couple went home to celebrate the New Year’s Eve with the family. Every grandchildren and children of their are so proud of their parents that they were able to spend one Christmas Holiday together despite a very busy work life.

The stimulating and interesting culture of Italy has made it a very popular country to visit. the Pro river and the Alps is already one good reason to visit it besides the culture that you are going to experience in the country. Verona is also another favorite.

Spend the Christmas Holidays embraced in an Italian culture.

What is your idea of a vacation? For me it would be a mixture of sightseeing tour and gastronomic delight. And lots and lots of museum tours. Italy specifically fit the requirements. It was said that every city in Italy has at least one museum that you can peruse over. No wonder that Italy vacation is and will be a dream come true to me.

Vacations in Italy are Europe’s vacation once in a lifetime opportunity. Though, I am not an architecture fan, I was so impressed by the mere sight and details of the architectures within the country. Though I got no background on the history and intricacies of architecture I was amazed by the mere beauty and construction of it. I was so engrossed with seeing the details even with the fact that I am viewing it with inexperienced eyes. That is one of my past times during our month stay with in Italy.

My husband though teases me every time I stop and meticulously look at the details of certain architecture or statue or a building. I had my fill of museums in fact I specifically visit one when it is the first I visit the city. I want to be honest though, a month is not enough tom visit all of Italy’s museums. Perhaps due to the fact that I also got engrossed with other Italy vacation attractions. Architecture for one. One it was not a cheap Italy vacation for my husband made sure we had the best from accommodation to the tours.

I was just sad that our italy vacation ended after a month. Though we have the best of everything in our travel it is due to Italy vacation packages that we got a year before our travel. This time it would be an Italy honeymoon for two months or more.

Today, making investments in Italy ensures terrific opportunities, especially with fewer communists in the area. There are several benefits of starting business in Italy especially for America’s capitalist’s nature. However, there are downsides still. With the global crisis, economic downturn, credit crunch and many other potentially contributing factors, it seems that people are becoming more and more practical, if not becoming even smarter with their financial priorities. One example is the outcome of the recent opening of the fashion week in Italy. The launching of Milan Fashion Week kicked off in a dim atmosphere with only ten shops in the line due to the global crisis. While last year showcased a total of 95 fashion houses staged shows, this year’s program has lured only 79. A sum of 93 brands has shown their summer 2009 collections in September last year. After some time, there are roughly 10 fewer fashion shows, said the head of the fashion chamber, Mario Bosselli. Apparently some countries are answering to obvious caution signs from buyers who are setting to skip shows in order to economize. In the end, all the big time fashion names are still Gucci, Giorgio Armani, Moschino, Versace and Fendi. Meanwhile, the small fashion houses that are keeping low admitted to undergoing financial difficulties. Indeed, the world in general is undergoing global crisis in all outstanding aspects.

But, there is another side of the coin. If you rather go to Italy for a springtime getaway, you can take off with the new flight that offers less at around $526 round-trip starting from Alitalia. You can also fly from New York and delve into Rome, fashionable Milan and several other popular cities between the dates April 3 and May 20. Milan will make the perfect destination this time of the year. On top of the discounted airline fare, the airline is proffering fares from Chicago, Miami and Boston starting from $685 only. Moreover, you will fly in guaranteed convenience on Alitalia with its leather seats. However, in order to really take advantage of the offers you must act fast. The flights from New York must be purchased by February 26 and 27 this year, and for all other exit cities.

Italy now has a high-speed train service between Milan and Rome that will cut travel time by twenty five percent to three hours for next year. Italian airline passengers are now shifting towards this busy route of Italy’s first innovative state railways. This mode of transport is said to corner at least sixty percent of the market for travel alone.

After a bumper harvest pushed Italian wine production above that of neighboring France for the first time, the country is probable to be the world’s largest wine producer. The Coldiretti farmers have estimated the production of Italian wine up to eight percent over last year (2007) to 4.7 billion liters, compared to France’s 4.44 billion liters. Production fell around five percent. Italy had surpassed France’s wine production in 1998, and since then has been decreasing the area of land cultivated as vineyards to keep on with improving quality. However, real figures will be confirmed on January next year (2008).

Black squirrels are found in Abruzzo, Italy. The region is characterized by a medieval economy run by sheep. The place is also where you can find Italy’s wildest national park, which is actually only one of three in the area. There you will see lynx, bear, wolf, chamois, reptiles, a long list of birds, mammals and a black squirrel indeed, known as scoiattolo meridionale or the southern squirrel. Black squirrels are meager mutations of the common grey. More singular is the Marsican brown bear, which is actually the symbol of the Abruzzo National Park, or more specifically the Parco Nazionale d’Abruzzo, Lazio e Molise.

It is always pleasant to visit Italy. But before anything else for your ventured trip make sure you have the proper accommodation to stay in. Italy has established a uniform of hotel rating system for the whole countrywide. You can choose among one to five star hotel ratings that standardize hotel types depending on room size and other amenities and facilities that are typical for hotel convenience.

Florence – Home of the world’s famous artists such as Dante Alighieri, Leonardo Da Vinci, Fra Angelico, Michelangelo and Machiavelli. It has galleries and museums, the greatest of which is the Uffizi. There you can find the works of Michelangelo, Botticelli and the famous Leonardo the Vinci. The city has huge churches such as the San Lorenzo and Santa Croce both very well built and modified. It has excellent squares such as the Piazza della Signoria where you can find beautiful fountains and great statues.

Rome – “Rome was not built in a day”, this line has become a famous quote that we tag everyone we encounter a situation that fits its meaning. This line alone can tell a lot about ROME. It drives us to excitement as it implies that besides the fact that Rome can offer so much of its history, it is also one of the most beautiful and sought after cities in the world.

Venice – People who go to Venice would have a relaxing time at St. Mark’s Square located in the center of Venice, and in close proximity you will also find the Basilica of St. Mark, Torre dell’ Orologio and Piazetta San Marco. More to its beautiful buildings and fine places, Venice is known as a romantic getaway. Well, with its matching blue skies and accentuated moon brought by the glow of the city lights at night it makes no ambivalence.

Milan – Who could not have heard of Milan being another fashion capital of the world? Milan is a city oozing with style each time the International fashion week is launched where models and designers seize the atmosphere as they show off the year’s latest fashion styles and lifestyle itself. This is a city perfect for both business and pleasure.

Verona – If you have not heard of the famous “Young Lovers of Verona” you pretty much missed a great part of history’s greatest love story of all times. Talk about Romeo and Juliet, you can actually see the concrete house of the heroine Juliet, it is called La Casa di Giulietta. Touring Verona gives you an experience filled with indescribable emotions as each scene takes you to imaginative memories of the medieval times.

Verily, Italy has been able to preserve the values and manifestations of its country. Now I know I will give anything just to visit Italy.

There is so much to see in Italy but remember also that there are some great hotels to enjoy! And if you have had a tough day sight-seeing, there can be nothing better than enjoying your mini bar, a film or some online poker! It will leave you refreshed for the next day and allow you maximum holiday relaxation!
